FAQ Page
- What services does Haulandroute provide?
Haulandroute provides professional cargo collection, handling, and transport arrangement services for clients across the United Kingdom and Europe. We coordinate structured logistics solutions for local and cross-border transport requirements based on scheduled collection slots and confirmed cargo parameters.
- How does the deposit system and pricing structure work?
To secure a driver and reserve standard transport resources for your requested date and route, an initial consultation deposit is collected via our website at the time of booking.
Deposit Purpose: The amount paid online serves as a preliminary booking fee to confirm your service order and allocate physical collection capacity.
Final Quotation: Following your initial submission, our logistics team reviews your exact cargo specifications, dimensions, total weight, handling instructions, and delivery route. A detailed final balance quote will be issued to you prior to transport commencement.
Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be settled in full according to the agreed terms before final consignment delivery.
- What are the rules regarding cancellations and right of withdrawal?
In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and European Union Consumer Rights Directive rules governing service contracts:
Before Transport Commences: You may request to cancel your booking before physical collection begins. If you cancel your reservation, refund requests for the initial deposit will be processed minus any administrative or logistical allocation fees already incurred.
After Transport Begins: Once our transport team has arrived at the collection location or physical handling/transit has commenced upon your specific request, the right to cancel or request a full refund is forfeit, as service execution has started.
- How are collection times arranged?
During the preliminary booking process, you will select a preferred collection window. Once your booking deposit is received, our operational coordinator will confirm the final collection slot via email. Please ensure that all items are prepared and accessible at the ground level or designated loading area at the scheduled time to avoid delay surcharges.
- What item categories or materials are excluded from transport?
For compliance and transit regulations across the UK and European jurisdictions, Haulandroute strictly excludes certain items from our logistics network. We do not carry or accept:
Hazardous materials, chemicals, flammables, or pressurized gases
Controlled substances, restricted products, or tobacco products
Perishable items or live animals
Currency, negotiable instruments, precious metals, or high-value jewelry
Items requiring specialized regulatory permits or illegal goods
It is the sender’s responsibility to disclose full cargo details during the assessment phase. Non-disclosed prohibited items will result in immediate service termination without deposit refund.
- What liabilities and transit protocols apply to shipped items?
Haulandroute operates standard duty of care procedures during handling and transport.
Packaging Responsibilities: The customer is strictly responsible for ensuring all items are securely packed, padded, and prepared to withstand standard transit handling.
Damage Claims: Any physical discrepancies or damage noted upon delivery must be reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery completion, accompanied by photographic evidence.
Scope of Liability: Merchant liability is governed strictly by agreed contractual value limits as stated in our standard terms of service. We do not accept liability for indirect, consequential, or pre-existing structural damage to unpacked or inadequately prepared items.
- What payment methods are accepted online?
We accept major valid credit cards and debit cards issued by standard financial networks. All transactions on our platform are processed through secure digital card entry protocols. Values are displayed and processed in British Pounds Euros (EUR) as stated at checkout.
